THANK YOU

A big thank you to Jason Fletcher of the Eagle and Child for hosting our Christmas Carol Singing event on 14 December, and kindly supplying sherry and mince pies. A collection as usual was take for FIREFLY and the Parish Council will also make a contribution to this worthy cause.

Thanks also to the Armthorpe Elmfield Band who accompanied the singing, for all those people who attended and joined in with the carols singing, and Cllr Swainston who kindly acted as M.C.

RETIREMENT

We are sorry to see our Clerk, Marjorie Caygill, leave her post on 31 December, after 40 years of commitment and efficient service. She will be missed. Very many thanks Marjorie.

WELCOME

We would like to welcome our new Clerk, Emma Lear, who takes up her post on 2 January 2022. We hope she enjoys her work, and liaising with residents.
