Telephone Box on Ellers Lane- Proposed Refurbishment

The telephone box on Ellers Lane has fallen in to disrepair and Auckley Parish Council would like to know your views on its rejuvenation. To fully repaint and reglaze the telephone box will cost approximately £1000. What do you think? Please contact the Clerk with your thoughts.

Defibrillators Around the Parish

Defibrillators are valuable resources which help to save lives. There are three located around the parish: at Riverside Park, Hayfield Park and Auckley School. The Council would like to see more located around the Parish and are therefore seeking funding for more defibrillators.

Thank You to the Auckley Women’s Institute

The Council would like to thank Auckley Women’s Institute for the Remembrance display on The Green. The beautiful display provides a poignant remembrance. The time and effort put in by the volunteers is commended.

Carol Service

The Parish Council are organising a Carol Service outside the Eagle & Child on Tuesday 12th of December from 7pm. Live music to accompany the singing will be provided by Armthorpe Elmfield band. All are invited.

Christmas Trees

The annual Christmas trees will now have been delivered to locations along Hurst Lane and the lights in the village turned on (shortly).
