A PCSO Drop in took place on Wednesday evening (the 22nd of February) in the Parish Centre.
It was attended by 3 Councillors, the Clerk and one member of the public.

Issues raised included:

  • Parking/ general driver conduct on School Lane and the surrounding areas at school drop off/pick up
  • The usage of e scooters, the associated health and safety issues and the disruptive behaviour of some users
  • The parking on the verges on Hayfield Lane close to Hayfield Lane School (informed this was not a police matter)
  • The use of Common Lane in recent vehicle thefts
  • The potential use of a local house for drug dealing
  • The recent criminal damage (graffiti) to Hayfield Park MUGA.

The PCSOs will look into the issues including looking at the CCTV footage of Hayfield Park and also provided advice for dealing with some issues.
